Laser cutting

Flatbed laser 1500 × 3000 mm and a 157-place sheet store. Steel, stainless, aluminium, brass and copper within published thicknesses.

Production photo published by Timeka

TRUMPF TruLaser 3030 Fiber L49, 6+ kW BrightLine Fiber, cuts steel, aluminium and stainless or acid-resistant steel up to 25 mm, and brass and copper up to 10 mm. TruLaser 3030 L20 CoolLine, 5 kW, cuts steel to 25 mm, stainless to 15 mm and aluminium to 12 mm. Sheets can also be ground. In 2024 a Löwer DiscMaster deburring machine was added so stainless and acid-resistant sheets can be offered ground.

Benefit
The automatic store and LiftMaster Compact shorten handling between cuts.
Materials
Steel, stainless and acid-resistant steel, aluminium, brass, copper. Thicknesses depend on the machine.
Methods
Fibre laser and CO2 laser with CoolLine. Grinding and deburring separately.
Typical use
Sheet parts for machine building, including thick steel up to the published 25 mm.
Quality assurance
Timeka describes the mechanical accuracy of laser cutting as about ten times that of oxy-fuel or plasma cutting. The final tolerance is confirmed from the drawing.
